The original HEALiX is a Velcro seam.
The benefits of the Velcro are enhanced durability, and better insulation if your goals entail reaching highest possible temperatures within the compartment.
The HEALiX-Z is a zipper seam. We originally started carrying it because clients with heavy arthritis in their hands, and sometimes older clientele, would find the Velcro seam cumbersome and too stiff.
The upside of the zipper is that it provides for easier exit/entry and just slightly more room in the sauna compartment.
Outside of these points, the only difference is some aesthetics with our branding on the products, which you should be able to see through the displayed product photos.
